Seniors with plans to go to college this coming September were celebrated on Tuesday the 2nd. The national Decision Day in normally celebrated on May 1st but many students were taking the AP Psychology Exam so it was moved.  Students received cake at lunch and got to take pictures with friends. Students showed off college pride with apparel from the college of their choice. Senior, Austin Kueck, who is attending EIU next year, said “It was fun getting to see where everyone is going next year and the cake was good too!”.  Many seniors are planning on staying close to home and attending schools like Minnesota State University Mankato , Dakota County Technical College (DCTC), South Dakota State University (SDSU) and the University of Minnesota (U of M). A few students are also planning on heading far away and attending schools like University of Eastern Illinois (EIU), University of Nebraska Lincoln (UNL), and University of Colorado at Boulder (CU). Students also decided that they will be joining the military in branches such as the Marines, U.S. Army, Navy and the Coast Guard. Congratulations again seniors, we’re excited too see what you accomplish in the future!
