The girls basketball team scored a season-low 23 points as it lost its eighth straight game 67-23 Friday night against Eagan.
The Tigers (3-21) fell behind 41-13 by halftime and put up 10 points in the second half. Senior Alicia Hett and Junior Morgan Mach each scored six points.
Tarah DeCroock finished the week with 10 rebounds, six assists and six steals.
“We continue to struggle offensively in games against much bigger and more physical players. The shots we make with ease in practice are not translating to games, which means we are still learning to adjust to the speed of the varsity level,” Farmington coach Sondra Chadwick said. “We have a lot of young kids and this adjustment will not occur overnight.”
The Tigers opened last week with a 77-32 home loss to Shakopee. Mach scored a team-high seven points.

“I give these girls credit, they continue to work hard, play until the final buzzer, and turn their focus to the next game,” Chadwick said.
