Boys Track and Field look for a strong season

 There are many coaches involved in Track and Field. There are one or two coaches that work with each event. Coach Hart and Coach Helmstetter work with sprinters. Coach Enderesbe works with hurdles. Coach Kelli Amie and Coach Buss works with pole vault. Coach Lippert works with high jump. Coach Lisa Lippold and Coach Adam Lippold are with distance. Coach Torrion Amie works with jumps.  The boys Track and Field are looking for a repeat of last year by winning the last Missota Conference Championship. The tigers hope to return the 4×200, the 4×800, the 4×400 and Justin Hyytinen in the 1600 and the 3200 meter run at state along with many other events.   The returning seniors include a strong senior class of Mason Auge, Sean Dougherty, Jacob Earp, Jack Erickson, Mason Gaylord, Tanner Grubb, Jeff Guitterez, Joe Hoeve, Brendan King, Derek Klotter, Jake Lee, Santana Perdomo, Godfrey Mpetey, Sean McHenry, Josh Patterson, Hunter Sevenich, Jared Wolt, CJ Wynings and Riley Stevenson hope to have a great senior season. Coach Helmstetter said this about the upcoming season “The expectations are high for both coaches and athletes,” he said. “There are talented teams around us in both the conference and section that will be tough competition. I expect the returners will continue to improve and have focus, but our newcomers will determine our success.”
